Nudibranchs are some of the smallest, most fascinating creatures on the coral reef. During this program you will learn all about their classification and identification, plus how they feed, move, reproduce and defend themselves. During the 2 dives you will identify different species of Nudibranch, plus look at their activities and anatomy.

PADI Octopus Ecology Specialty Certification
Learn about the behavior and physiology of one of our favorite reef residents, the octopus. Learn how can you find them and what tell tale signs are there when you are looking for them on the reef.

PADI Sponge Ecology Specialty Certification
Marine Sponges are an integral part of the coral reef. You will learn about the biology of sponges, types of sponge species and basic sponge ID. Also, sponge filtration process, sponges role in the ecosystem and types of survey techniques. During the dives you will identify sponges, conduct a transect survey and use dye to observe the sponge filtration process.
